Mater Little Miracles Keep my Change for Children Campaign

Register your business to help more children spend Christmas with their family.

Lauren was just under six weeks old when she had her first heart attack which almost took her life. She was rushed to Mater Children’s Hospitals where she underwent multiple surgeries.

Did you know that Mater performs almost 9000 surgeries on children each year? That’s equal to one operation of every hour of every day.

Through research we can continue to improve medical practises to ensure more children get well and are able to go home. Over the next three years Mater Foundation aims to raise $7 million to fund approximately 25 research projects to help improve medical outcomes for children, mothers and babies.

This Christmas we’re calling on businesses, retailers and community groups to help children get well and go home sooner by supporting the Mater Little Miracles Keep my Change for Children campaign.

The campaign, which will run during December will raise funds to support projects like our research for babies and children at Mater. Lauren has had more operations then Christmas days, but thanks to the specialised care she received, she is now spending Christmas with her family.

Participating in the campaign is easy—simply ask your customers, clients or staff if they will donate their change for sick babies and children this Christmas. The more people that participate the more money we will raise so that more children like Lauren can spend Christmas with their family.
