2009 has been a busy year for our Alumni with a variety of social and professional development events, including our annual reunion at the Stones Throw Café Bar and the Nurses and Midwives Need Nurturing Too seminar.
Nurses and Midwives Need Nurturing Too, was a wonderful opportunity to take some time out from our busy lives, reflect upon our careers, and enjoy a little bit of pampering.
We look forward to presenting more of these sessions in the future.

On a personal note, I would like to thank everyone for their support since I took over the role of Chairperson earlier this year.
As you know, Pat Snowden retired as Director of Nursing at the Mater Private and from her role as Alumni Chairperson in March 2009. Pat did a wonderful job of guiding the Mater Nursing and Midwifery Alumni through its early development. We wish her all the very best in her retirement and look forward to seeing her again soon.
