Since the Mater Nursing and Midwifery Alumni was established in August 2005, our members have discovered that there are many benefits to being part of our Alumni.
Not least of which is the unique opportunity to foster lifelong professional and personal relationships both locally and globally.
The Alumni was established to honour the tradition of the Sisters of Mercy, the founders and owners of the Mater Hospitals; and to recognise that our nursing and midwifery staff continue to walk in their footsteps and live the mercy values today,” said Cheryl Clayton, Alumni Chairperson.
The Alumni, proudly supported by the Mater Foundation, is the first of its kind in Australia.
Alumni members benefit from a wide range of opportunities including:
- Personal invitations to all Alumni social and professional development events
- Complimentary or discounted admission to all Alumni hosted events including free admission to the Alumni annual reunion
- Regular copies of Alumni News
- The Mater Nursing and Midwifery Alumni Badge.
