Hotel Care is a very special annual fundraising project organised by Queensland Hotel Association (QHA). Hotel Care raises much needed funds for medical research conducted at Mater Medical Research Institute and the Princess Alexandra Hospital; it also supports Queensland's regional hospitals.

The QHA, in partnership with Mater Foundation and PA Research Foundation, encourages hotels across Queensland to participate in the annual QHA Hotel Care campaign—a simple and fun way for hotels to fundraise for a good cause.

Participating hotels can decide how to fundraise within their hotel, or are provided with a range of point of sale posters, temporary tattoos, beer tap wobblers, hospital face masks for dress ups and a fundraising manual to maximise their fundraising potential.

In 2009 more than 250 Queensland hotels participated in the campaign, raising an impressive $210 000. The ALH Group developed a very creative "your health is at steak" campaign, donating $2 for every steak purchased during the 2009 campaign. Over the past six years QHA Hotel Care has raised more than $1 million for medical research and regional hospitals.

In 2010, QHA has a goal of raising $250 000 for crucial medical research conducted at Mater Medical Research Institute and the Princess Alexandra Hospital.
