The Mater Foundation is only able to provide funding or research or projects that are associated with Mater Health Services in Brisbane, Australia.

Projects funded by the Mater Foundation add value to Mater Health Services and the Mater Medical Research Institute and help the Mater meet its core values by supporting programs that address unmet community needs.

What we do not fund
We cannot provide funding for research or projects that are not associated with Mater Health Services in Brisbane, Australia.
Expenses for core equipment or supplies that would normally be the responsibility of a regularly operating hospital will not be funded by the Foundation.
At this time the Foundation is not able to directly fund Fellowships or Scholarships. We are not able to provide funding for individual patient costs.
