CEO message: ‘With great thanks to our donors for their generosity’

Message from Nigel Harris, Mater Foundation CEO

As the end of the year approaches, I took some time out to reflect on the successes of the past year. In particular, I reflected on the amazing supporters and how they have enabled Mater to continue revolutionising healthcare for our community throughout 2017.

Because of the kindness of everyday people, just like you, our world-class research institute—Mater Research—has continued to excel this year in the progression of promising research into ovarian, prostate and breast cancer as well as neurological conditions including Alzheimer’s. And our education institute—Mater Education—has expanded its offering in not only simulated medical scenarios, but on-the-job practical training for up and coming nurses and healthcare professionals.

So thank you, to everyone who has supported Mater Foundation this year!  Here are some of the ways we have helped our community…
