Mater Foundation Chief Executive Officer Nigel Harris congratulated Mr Hennessy on receiving the prestigious honour.
“On behalf of the Board and the wider organisation, I congratulate Phil on his long-standing achievements in both the private and charitable sectors which have led him to receive this recognition.
“Phil has played a vital role in the success of Mater Foundation as we continue to provide much-needed support in areas of health, education and research at Mater.
“As an experienced director we are grateful to Phil for the exceptional insights and experience he brings to our organisation and for the passion in which he holds for Mater and our community,” Mr Harris said.
