Record-breaking event in 2020

The 2020 RACQ International Women’s Day Fun, created our largest  sea of pink yet on Sunday 8 March with a record attendance of up to 15 000 people.

In a recording-breaking year, individual supporters, Mater People and local community teams raised more than $1 million in support of raising awareness of breast cancer research through Mater Chicks in Pink .

‘Your long-term support means so much to us, to not only run this event, but also your support of research at Mater,’ said CEO of Mater Foundation Nigel Harris.

Funds raised go towards more than research at Mater— your donations have provided support to patients such as counselling, yoga and art therapy, and mastectomy bras for women who have lost one or both breasts.
