“We started making papier-mache bowls and painting them, decorating pots and growing plants from seeds or cuttings, making homemade soap and face creams, jewellery boxes out of lolly tins, and adding pom poms on key rings,” Natanya said.
Her first craft stall in December 2018 catapulted her into the world of fundraising, and after holding a second stall in May, Natanya has raised around $1000 for Mater Little Miracles.
“It makes me feel so good to know that I am helping the sick babies. This experience has enabled me to learn so many new skills, and I am doing things I never dreamed I would be able to do.”
