Congratulations to our clinicians and health professionals

Huge congratulations goes to the following people who were recently awarded funding through the Betty McGrath Fellowship Scheme and Mater Clinical and Early Career Research Seeding Grants.

Each year, Mater’s clinicians and health professionals are invited to apply for funding through the schemes, designed as an additional avenue to improve their evidence-based clinical practice at Mater. The funding opportunity also allows for greater participation by Mater clinical staff and health professionals in broader research activities.

Betty McGrath Fellowship Scheme

A joint initiative of Mater Health and Mater Research and funded by Mater Foundation, the Betty McGrath Fellowship Scheme is designed to support improved evidence-based clinical practice at Mater. The Fellowship enables practicing clinicians or other health professionals to increase their research activity by providing salary support to back-fill their clinical positions.
