Christine Maher
Board Director
Ms Christine Maher is an experienced non-executive director in both the charitable and commercial sectors. Ms Maher practised as a partner in the national law firm Corrs Chambers Westgarth in financial services and governance before retiring from that firm in 2019.
Ms Maher brings governance and legal experience to the Board and is currently a director of CDPF Limited and a former director of WorkCover Queensland and Energy Super.
Ms Maher has a long involvement in the charitable and fundraising sector and is currently also a director of People First Foundation Limited (formerly the Heritage Bank Charitable Foundation).
Ms Maher has a strong connection with Mercy Partners having attended All Hallows’ School and served on the School’s Council. Ms Maher and her husband welcomed their son at Mater Mother’s Hospital. Ms Maher also serves as a member of the Archdiocesan Finance Council’s Audit and Risk Management Committee and previously served as a member of Queensland Catholic Education’s Audit and Risk Committee.
