In December, we acknowledge All Hallows’ School who have been named a Mater Foundation Community Hero.
Each year, All Hallows’ School embarks on a fundraising project which the whole School supports throughout the year. In 2022, All Hallows’ Whole School project supported fundraising for Mater’s Catherine’s House.
Throughout the year, the students united in support of this cause by holding bake stalls, sausage sizzles, raffles and dress-up days. The Year 10 Enterprise Education students applied their business acumen to host ‘Magnolia Markets’ as part of their business assessment, raising an incredible $3,500. The school P&F contributed a $20,000 donation from a car raffle drawn on All Hallows' Mercy Day. At the Grade 12 Graduation assembly, the School and Social Justice Captains of All Hallows’ announced the record-breaking donation of $45,000.
This amazing result would not have been possible without the generosity, time, hard work and creativity of the entire school community.
