Heidi Bailey is recognised as Mater Foundation Community Hero.

We are delighted to celebrate Heidi Bailey who has been acknowledged as a Mater Foundation Community Hero!

For over ten years, Heidi and her Louenhide co-founder Lou Kendall, have actively supported the Mater Foundation's major fundraising campaigns. Her personal connection to the cause and motivation to make a difference stems from her family and friend's experiences with breast cancer. Heidi's mother and maternal aunt are survivors. She also has several friends who have lost their mothers to breast cancer.

Through Louenhide, Heidi and Lou generously donate all proceeds from their Chicks in Pink range to the Mater Foundation and provide $35,000 worth of toiletry bags annually to breast cancer patientsLouenhide also support major fundraising events like the International Women’s Day Fun Run and Breast Cancer Awareness Month Breasties Brunch’. Recently, they included the Mater Foundation in their VIP Warehouse Sale Days, donating ticket sales to the Mater Chicks in Pink program.

Heidi stresses the importance of supporting breast cancer research and raising awareness about early detection for improved survival rates.  Mater Foundation Community Hero recognises and celebrates the inspiring contributions of our volunteers, fundraisers and advocates.

Thank you, Heidi, we value your outstanding contribution!
