$2 doesn’t seem like a lot, but it really is. The impact of every donation in support of Mater Little Miracles should not be underestimated.
During April, Big W stores across Queensland and Northern NSW ran their annual ‘Bunnyville’ campaign selling tokens and asking customers for donations in support of Mater’s tiniest patients. Together, Big W staff raised more than $51,000 for seriously ill and premature babies at Mater, which is an incredible achievement.
Their fundraising is helping babies like Gen and Evie, who were born at just 23 weeks and 1 day. You can read about their story here.
Funds raised from this year’s campaign will also help Mater continue to be Australia’s leading speciality service for treating and managing some of the country’s most complex and high-risk pregnancies.
