This year, BIG W hope to raise more than $40,000 for Mater Little Miracles through their month-long token campaign.
From 4 March to 1 April, BIG W stores across Queensland and the Northern Territory will again undertake their annual ‘Bunnyville’ campaign, where every $2 token sold will play a crucial role in supporting Mater’s tiniest patients.
Since the beginning of this partnership in 2012, BIG W have raised over $840,000 for seriously ill and premature babies at Mater.
Campaign funds have helped Mater continue to be Australia’s leading speciality service for treating and managing complex and high-risk pregnancies.
Their fundraising will help babies like Ollie, who spent 159 days in Mater’s Neonatal Critical Care Unit (NCCU) after an emergency caesarean at just 23 weeks’ gestation, and who relied on specialist care and state-of-the-art ventilators to stay alive.
Mater is grateful for the continued support shown by BIG W staff and customers and thank you for their ongoing generosity.
