In July, we acknowledge The Premier Dance Academy and owner, Tania Whelan, who have been named as a Mater Foundation Community Hero.
With a community of over 1,000 students learning a variety of dance styles and performing arts, The Premier Dance Academy have supported Mater Little Miracles since 2006, through sponsorship of Olivia’s Lunch and their Day of Dance event, raising over $138,000 to date!
The Day of Dance raises funds through ticket sales to the event, which showcase the talents of students past and present. There’s also a major raffle including prizes donated by local businesses and generous families who attend the school. This year, they raised an impressive $16,350 for Mater Little Miracles, making it their most successful Day of Dance yet!
Mater Little Miracles is close to the hearts of many who attend the school, with a number of families and staff having babies at Mater Mothers’, including some premature babies who needed a little extra care at the Neonatal Critical Care Unit.
