For the past three years, Tina has shown extraordinary dedication in the fight against breast cancer, leading the Boonah Babes & Bros for Boobs International Women’s Day Fun Run team with unwavering passion and determination. Since beginning her journey in 2021, Tina has grown her team to an impressive 52 members. Beyond the Fun Run, she has organised impactful events like a Silent Auction Dinner and a raffle, raising vital funds for Mater Chicks in Pink.
Tina’s dedication to fundraising is truly remarkable. Starting with $1,200 in her first year, she doubled her efforts to raise $2,500 in her second year. This year, with incredible support from her team and collaborators such as Blush Skin Solutions, Balance with Blends and Massage, and generous community contributors like Vicki, Sue, Rosie, and Katrina, Tina has achieved a phenomenal $22,000 — far exceeding her original goal.
Tina’s motivation to make a difference is deeply rooted in the values instilled by her parents, Les and Nerida, who taught her to “dream big, shoot for the stars, and never doubt yourself.” This mantra has been a driving force behind her exceptional advocacy and success. Looking ahead, Tina is already planning even greater initiatives for 2026, inspiring others to join her mission and make a lasting impact.
